Winter Tendrils performance

A talk and streamed concert with music curator Anne Leilehua Lanzilotti. Seth Parker Woods performs new works on the theme of “translation” for cello and electronics composed by Freida Abtan, Monty Adkins, Ryan Carter, Nathalie Joachim, and Pierre Alexandre Tremblay on 5th November 7pm, EMPAC, Troy, New York, USA. 21 people in my bathroom is now released on band camp here

This unique project allows people to access sound art in their home via mobile phone rather than in a gallery due to Covid-19. This project also has works by Alma Laprida, Beatriz Eugenia Díaz, Bruno Duplant, Gil Sansón, Kate Carr, Maria Leguizamo, Supriya Nagarajan, and Xareni Lizzarraga. At the Water’s Edge

At the Water’s Edge will be released on 10th September 2020. The single 10 minute track is part of Audiobulb‘s Exhibition#100, a celebration of its 100th release, seeing one single released per day for 35 days between September 1st 2020 and October 4th 2020. Artists include Autistici, Wil Bolton, Poyra Hatami, Melodlium, offthesky, Aria Rostami, Ultre, and Justin Varis amongst others.

Door-to-Door on is today releasing a 10-minute soundscape recording entitled Door-to-Door as part of their Outside-In series. It comprises a pre-lockdown recording made in Reims and is available here. I made this as I was fascinated by the area, but now in lockdown it seems almost surreal.


Winter Tendrils in digital concert by Seth Parker Woods

Seth Parker Woods will play Winter Tendrils on 15th April as part of the Gray Sound Sessions Vol.2 – a series of digital concerts from the Gray Centre for Arts and Inquiry, USA. The concert features two other works by Fredrick Gifford and Coleridge Taylor-Perkinson. You can watch the concert online here
