Cerria’s bastion at Caerimar is one of her furthest most outposts across the ice fields on Soludenia. After six cycles of warding off the Chimera, the tythlotic trackers are growing wearisome and rumours of insurgency are growing. In an attempt to quell the mounting unrest Cerria travels out to Caerimar at the time of ritual festivities marking the beginning of a new cycle. The trackers see this coming together as an opportune time to overthrow Cerria and her entourage. Taken unaware, those at the festivities are overpowered and scatter, with Cerria taking refuge in the energy conversion facilities at the remote edges of Caerimar. With communications cut off, she and a few loyal Augments find themselves isolated. At dawn, the merciless trackers infiltrate the facility, ruthlessly effective in their desire to hunt down those seeking sanctuary within. Having engineered the trackers to protect against the Chimera, the Augments suddenly find themselves the ones being hunted. Overwhelmed by the relentless raids by the hordes of trackers – their hideous cries piercing the now silent icefields, rescue comes too late, and Cerria is lost.
